Install or Connect
1. Accumulator into accumulator clamp.
2. Accumulator clamp bolt.
Tighten

Bolt to 10 N.m (88 lb in).
3. Evaporator and accumulator hose assembly to accumulator. Refer to Evaporator and Accumulator Hose Assembly.
4. Compressor and condenser hose assembly to accumulator. Refer to Compressor and Condenser Hose Assembly.
5. Negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
6. Refrigerant to the system.

Check the system for leaks.
Compressor Sealing Washers
IMPORTANT: Use the correct washers. There should be a space of 1.2 mm (0.047 in) between the suction/discharge hose block and the compressor
rear head.
1. Clean all of the sealing surfaces with a lint-free rag in order to prevent dirt or foreign material from getting into the following sealing surface
components:

The washers
-
The hose block
-
The compressor ports
