CIRCUIT OPERATION
Voltage for the turn signal lamps is provided by fuse 10 in the IP fuse block. Voltage for the hazard lamps is provided by the HAZ LP fuse in the
Underhood Bussed Electrical Center (UBEC). Voltage to the brake lights is provided through the STOP LP fuse and the CHMSL relay. The HAZ LP
fuse is HOT AT ALL TIMES so the hazard lamps will work at all times. The TURN fuse 10 is HOT IN START OR RUN. STOP LP fuse is HOT AT
ALL TIMES and provides power to the switched side of the CHMSL relay and the coil side through the stop lamps switch. The turn signal/hazard
flasher is powered by either the HAZ LP fuse or the TURN fuse depending on the position of the hazard switch. When the turn signal or hazard flasher
switch is engaged, the current flow to the turn signal bulbs causes the hazard turn signal relay to open and close and flash the bulbs. The Park lamps and
tail lamps are powered through PARK LP fuse in the Underhood Bussed Electrical Center (UBEC), which is hot at all times, and the Headlamp Switch.
