J23765 Axle Shaft Bearing Installer

J23771 Axle Shaft Seal Installer
1. Remove the brake drum and the wheel.
2. Remove the axle shaft. Refer to Axle Shaft Replacement.
Important: Do NOT damage the housing.
3. Remove the seal. Use a seal removal tool behind the steel case of the seal.
4. Remove the bearing. Use J2619-01,J2619-4, and J22813-01 as shown. The tangs of the tool should engage the bearing outer race.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

J23771 Axle Shaft Seal Installer
1. Install the brake drum and the wheel.
2. Install the bearing with J23765 until the tool bottoms against the housing shoulder.
3. Lubricate the bearing with gear lubricant.
