Oil Cooler: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the oil pan drain plug. Drain the engine oil into a suitable container.
3. Open the access panel in the front underbody shield.
4. Remove the oil filter from the oil cooler.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the oil pan drain plug to the oil pan.
Tighten the oil pan drain plug to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
