6. Slide the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (2) out of the lock module assembly (1) by releasing the tabs.
7. Let the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (2) hang freely.
8. Remove the 3 pan head tapping screws (1) from the lock module assembly (2).
Important: The lock bolt assembly (4) is under slight spring tension from the lock bolt spring (3). Hold the lock bolt (4) in place while removing
the lock module assembly (2).
9. Remove the lock module assembly (2) and the lock bolt assembly (4) from the steering column housing assembly (5).
10. Remove the lock bolt spring (3) from the lock bolt assembly (4).
Assemble
Assembly Procedure
1. Install the lock bolt spring (3) into the steering column housing assembly (5).
2. Position the cutout in the lock bolt assembly (4) at the 6 o' clock position.
3. Install the lock bolt assembly (4) into the steering column housing assembly (5).
