Lifter / Lash Adjuster: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the cylinder head.
Refer to Cylinder Head Replacement.
2. Remove the bolts that secure the lifter anti-rotation brackets.
3. Remove the anti-rotation brackets.
4. Remove the valve lifters.
IMPORTANT: Inspect the valve lifter and camshaft lobe for excessive wear. Replace if necessary.
