Hombre XS Space Cab 2WD L4-2.2L CPC (1999)
1. Install the crankshaft front oil seal using the following procedure.
1. Lubricate the seal lips with engine oil.
2. Use the J 35468 and a hammer in order to install the seal.
2. Apply a 10 mm (3/8 in) wide, by 5 mm (3/16 in) thick bead of RTV sealer or equivalent to the oil pan to the area where the oil pan and the
engine front cover meet.
3. Install the engine front cover over the dowel pins in the engine block.
4. Install the engine front cover bolts.
Tighten the engine front cover bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
