Power Steering Pump Replacement (2.2L)

Removal Procedure

Tools Required

-

J 25034-B Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover

1. Remove the upper fan shroud. 
2. Place a drain pan below the pump.
3. Remove the power steering hoses from pump.

4. Cap the power steering hoses.
5. Remove the Drive belt.

6. Install J 25034-B to the power steering pump pulley.

Ensure that the pilot bottoms in the pump shaft by turning the nut to the top of the pilot bolt.

7. Hold the pilot bolt.
8. Turn the nut clockwise
9. Remove the power steering pump pulley.
