Underhood Lamp: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect

1. Battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
2. Electrical connector from the underhood lamp.
3. Fastener that retains the underhood lamp to the hood.
4. Screws that retain the underhood lamp to the hood.
5. Underhood lamp assembly from the vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. Underhood lamp assembly to the vehicle.
2. Screws that retain the underhood lamp to the hood.

Tighten

Screws that retain the underhood lamp to the hood to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

3. Fastener that retains the ground wire to the body.

Tighten
-

Ground wire to the body fastener to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

4. Electrical connector to the underhood lamp.
5. Battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
