Spare Tire: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the spare tire from the carrier.
2. Remove the bolts.
3. Remove.the pin and the retainer.
4. Remove the hoist from the crossmember.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the hoist. Align the hoist with the crossmember and the shaft.
2. Install the pin and the retainer.
3. Install the bolts.
Tighten
-
Tighten the bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the spare tire to the carrier.
