Tools Required
J 21474-18 or equivalent Nut
J 21474-19 or equivalent Bolt
J 33793 or equivalent Control Arm Bushing Service Set
1. Install the bushings to the upper control arm. Use the tools shown.
2. Install the bumper to the upper control arm.
3. Install the nut to the bumper.
Tighten
-
Tighten the nut to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the upper control arm to the frame.
5. Install the cams to the bolts.
IMPORTANT: The bolt heads must be opposed inside the bracket.
6. Install the bolts to the upper control arm.
7. Install the cams.
8. Install the nuts.
