Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Rear Suspension
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
2. Remove the shock absorber to frame bracket nuts and bolts
3. Remove the shock absorber to anchor plate nut and washer.
4. Remove the shock absorber from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the shock absorber to the lower anchor plate. Do not attach the washer or the nut.
