3. Install the support cable (1) onto the bolt head of the endgate striker bolt.

4. Install the latch rods (2) into the retaining clips (1).
5. Connect the clips (1) retaining the latch rods (2) to the endgate handle.
6. Install the endgate cover. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Latch Cover Replacement  () .
7. Close the endgate.
