Tie Down Hook / Bracket: Service and Repair

Pickup Box Tie Down Loop Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution:  Refer to Approved Equipment for Collision Repair Caution  (See: Service Precautions/Technician Safety Information/Approved

1. Locate and drill out the spot welds.
2. Remove the tie down loop.

Installation Procedure

1. Prepare all mating surfaces as necessary.
2. Apply GM-approved Weld-Thru coating or equivalent to all mating surfaces. Refer to Anti-Corrosion Treatment and Repair  () .
