Oil Filter Bypass Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Replacement (See: Oil Filter Adapter Replacement).
2. Using a suitable tool, pry the oil filter bypass valve from the engine block.

Discard the oil filter bypass valve.

Installation Procedure

1. Press the new oil filter bypass valve into the engine block.
2. Install the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Replacement (See: Oil Filter Adapter Replacement).
