1. Apply coolant to the end of the heater inlet hose (5).
Important: When installing a new heater inlet hose, place the clamps on the hose before installing the hose to the inlet hose fitting at the
engine block.
2. Install the heater inlet hose (3) to the inlet hose fitting (6) at the engine block.
3. Position the inlet heater hose clamp (4) at the engine block using J 38185.
4. Install the heater inlet hose (3) to the heater core inlet.
5. Press the quick connect (1) onto the heater core inlet until fully seated.
6. Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling
