Seat Back Recliner Cable Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the seat cushion outer trim panel.
3. Remove the seat switch bezel.

4. Remove the seat adjuster cable (3) from the seat adjuster (2).
5. Remove the cable end from the seat adjuster (2) by removing the ball (1) though the round opening.
6. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to remove the cable from the opposite side of the seat.
7. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the front of the seat cushion frame enough to expose the front seat cushion frame mounting nuts. 

8. Loosen the seat cushion frame mounting nuts (1) to raise the frame enough to slide the cable out from between the seat cushion frame and the seat

adjuster.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the cable between the seat cushion frame and the seat adjuster.
