Rocker Arm Assembly: Service and Repair

Valve Rocker Arm and Valve Lash Adjuster Replacement 
Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the camshafts.

2. Important:  Once removed, place the valve rocker arms and valve lash adjusters in an organized order so the components can be installed into the

original locations.

Remove the valve rocker arms.

3. Remove the valve lash adjusters.
4. Clean and inspect the valve rocker arms and valve lash adjusters. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm and Valve Lash Adjuster Cleaning and Inspection.
