Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair

Oil Filter Adapter Replacement 
Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the oil filter.

2. Remove the oil filter adapter from the engine block.

Installation Procedure 

1. Notice:  Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the oil filter adapter into the engine block.
Tighten the oil filter adapter to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). 

2. Install the oil filter.
