Fuel Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Filter to Tank

FUEL HOSES/PIPES REPLACEMENT - FILTER TO TANK

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
-

Refer to Fuel and EVAP Pipe Caution in Service Precautions.

Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Caution in Service Precautions.

NOTE:  Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Hose/Pipe Connection Cleaning Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Remove the fuel tank.

2. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe from the fuel filter.

3. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) in order to disconnect the following from the fuel tank module (2):

-

The fuel return pipe (6)

-

The fuel feed pipe (7)

4. Disengage the following from the retaining clips (1):

-

The fuel return pipe (6)

-

The fuel feed pipe (7)
