1. Notice: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the transfer case NEUTRAL switch (1) and gasket (4) into the transfer case.

Tighten the neutral switch to 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the brown NEUTRAL switch electrical connector (2) to the bracket (3).
3. Connect the brown engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the brown NEUTRAL switch electrical connector (6).
4. Lower the vehicle.
