Propeller Shaft Center Support Bearing Replacement

J 37372 Bearing Installer

J 44749 Split Plate

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the propeller shaft. 
2. Mark the relationship of the yoke to the driveshaft.

3. Mark the relationship of the U-Joint to the yoke.
4. Remove the U-Joint from the yoke.

Important:  The service is to protect the machined portion of the slip yoke.

5. Using 2 or 3 clean shop towels, wrap the slip yoke with the towels and secure with electrical ties or electrical tape.
