3. Disconnect the gray 2/4 indicator switch electrical connector (2) from the bracket (1).
4. Loosen the switch connector bracket bolt in order to release the 2/4 indicator switch pigtail.
5. Remove the transfer case 2/4 indicator switch (4) and gasket (3) from the transfer case.

Installation Procedure 

1. Notice:  Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the transfer case 2/4 indicator switch (4) and gasket (3) into the transfer case.
Tighten the 2/4 indicator switch to 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.). 

2. Route the 2/4 indicator switch pigtail along the bracket (1)
3. Install the switch connector bracket bolt.

Tighten the switch connector bracket bolt to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).

4. Connect the gray 2/4 indicator switch electrical connector (2) to the bracket (1).
