SERVICE INFORMATION
On the affected vehicles, customers may notice excessive rear view mirror vibration at approximately 2000 RPM.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Fig. 1, Air Cleaner Mounts
To reduce rear view mirror vibrations at 2000 RPM replace the air cleaner mounts as follows:
1.
Remove air cleaner cover and air filter.
2.
Remove the 3 air cleaner mounting bolts.
3.
Remove the 3 rubber mounts located inside the air cleaner and the 3 rubber mounts located under the air cleaner (6 total rubber mounts). See
Fig. 1
4.
Replace the 3 rubber mount pairs and sleeves with the new type listed below. Reuse the original bolts and washers.
5.
Reinstall air filter and air cleaner cover.
