Idle Speed: Adjustments
Curb Idle Adjust

1.

 Apply parking brake and block drive wheels.

2.

 Start engine and allow to reach normal operating temperature, then place transmission in Neutral position.

3.

 Connect suitable tachometer, then check engine speed with idling adjust bolt in contact with accelerator lever.

 If idle speed is not as specified, adjust by turning idling adjust bolt, Fig. 8.

5.

 Adjust setting of outer control cable to adjust accelerator control inner cable play.

6.

 If setting of idling control lever is incorrect, adjust with outer cable.
