SERVICE INFORMATION
Transmission oil build-up between the shift rod oil seal and the shift quadrant housing may cause an oil leak to occur at the oil seal. In addition, if the
drain hole at the front bushing becomes restricted by foreign material, it may cause leakage at the front cap plug.
This Service Bulletin contains procedures for preventing oil build-up between the shift rod oil seal and the shift quadrant housing, and for bushing
replacement.
