Load Compensator: Adjustments
CAUTION: Before adjusting the load sensing proportioning valve, make sure the suspension is not modified.
(1) BEFORE MEASURING - make sure:

The Vehicle Is Unloaded (except The Spare Tire And Tools)

The Vehicle Is Unoccupied
-
The Brakes Are Not Applied
-
You Check And Record The Fuel Level
-
You Note The Vehicle Trim Level
Inserting Straight Pin Into LSPV Arm
(2) INSERT A 5.0 TO 5.3 MM STRAIGHT PIN - into the 5 mm hole in the LSPV arm.
Measuring Dimension L
(3) WHILE PULLING THE LEVER - toward the spring, measure between the outer surface of the pin and the outer surface of the 8 mm adjusting
bolt. Use the nut-side of the adjusting bolt, and keep the calipers parallel to the spring.
