Parking Brake Shoe: Service and Repair
Disassembly
WARNING: Perform the lining surface brake-in when replacing the shoes with new linings and/or new brake discs (drums).
1. Remove the rear brake caliper and rear brake disc/ drum.
Disconnecting Upper Return Springs
2. Disconnect and remove the upper return springs.
Removing Tension Pins
3. Remove the tension pins by pushing and turning the retainer spring.
