Backing Plate
4. Apply Molykote 44 MA grease on each sliding surface.
CAUTION: Contaminated brake linings or drums reduce stopping ability. Keep grease or oil off the brake linings. Wipe any excess grease off the
parts.
Installing Adjuster Assembly
5. Clean the threaded portions of clevices A and B. Coat the threads of the clevices with Molykote 44 MA grease. To shorten the clevices, turn the
adjuster bolt.
6. Install the adjuster assembly and the lower return spring on the brake shoes.
