Axle Shaft: Service and Repair
Overhaul

TOOLS REQUIRED

07GAD-PH70201 Oil Seal Driver

NOTE:  Be careful not to damage the bearing support rings on the intermediate shaft during disassembly.

DISASSEMBLE 

1. Remove the set ring.
2. Remove the intermediate shaft outer seal from the bearing support.
3. Remove the external circlip.

4. Press the intermediate shaft out of the shaft bearing using the special tools and a press.

NOTE:  Position the special tools so they do not damage the bearing support ring on the shaft.
