Maintenance Required Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation
Operation - The Maintenance Required Indicator reminds you that it is time to perform scheduled maintenance on your vehicle. For the first 6,000 miles
(9,600 km) after reset, it will come on for two seconds when the ignition switch is turned to "ON" (II). Between 6,000 miles (9,600 km) and 7,500 miles
(12,000 km) the indicator will light for two seconds when the ignition switch is turned to "ON" (II) and then flash for ten seconds. If 7,500miles (12,000
km) is exceeded without having scheduled maintenance performed and the indicator reset then the indicator will remain on as a constant reminder.
How to Reset:
1. Turn off engine.
2. Press and hold the select/reset button in the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch to "ON" (II).
3. Hold the button for about ten seconds, until the indicator resets.
