Evaporator Core: Service and Repair
With/Without Dual Air Conditioning (Front A/C Unit)

EVAPORATOR / REPLACEMENT

1. Recover the refrigerant with a Recovery/Recycling/Charging System.

2. Disconnect the receiver line and the suction line from the evaporator.

NOTE:  Plug or cap the lines immediately after disconnecting them to avoid moisture and dust contamination.

3. Remove the dashboard lower cover, center console and the stops from the glove box.

4. Remove the damper from the glove box and the connectors from the glove box frame. Remove the two bolts and the glove box frame together with

the glove box.
