6. Check for continuity between the 4P connector No. 2 terminal and 16P connector No. 12 terminal of the combination switch harness.

If there is continuity, go to step 7.

If there is no continuity, check for an open in the BLU/RED wire of the combination switch harness.
7. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the radio's preset buttons.
8. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
9. Disconnect the battery negative cable, then disconnect the positive cable, and wait at least three minutes.
10. Remove the driver's airbag assembly.
11. Check for continuity between the No. 2 terminal of the cable reel and the horn switch positive terminal (cable reel side).

If there is continuity, replace the airbag assembly.

If there is no continuity, replace the cable reel.
12. If all the tests prove OK, reinstall and reconnect all removal parts, then reconnect the battery cables.
13. Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.
14. Confirm proper system operation:

Turn the ignition switch ON (II); the SRS indicator light should come on for about six seconds and then go off.

Make sure the horn button works.
