Throttle Position Switch: Adjustments

Open throttle valve.

Throttle Stop Screw

-

Place a 0.024 in (0.6 mm) feeler gauge on top of stop screw and close linkage onto feeler gauge.

Remove wiring connector from throttle switch.

Throttle Valve Switch

-

Connect ohmmeter to pin P and pin I.  Ohmmeter should show continuity (closed circuit).

If ohmmeter does not show continuity, loosen throttle valve switch mounting screws slightly and rotate switch just to point where continuity is
attained.

Tighten screws.

NOTE: Continuity should stop immediately after throttle pedal is pressed.

Move ohmmeter lead from pin I to pin F and verify that continuity exists with throttle linkage wide open.
