Remove the wiper arm nut (5).

INSTALLATION
To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order, noting the following points:
1. Wiper linkage

Take care not to scratch the painted surfaces of the body when installing the wiper linkage to the body.

If crank arm of wiper motor is removed, confirm the position of auto stop prior to reinstalling the crank arm to the wiper motor.
^
Tighten the crank arm nut to the specified torque.
13.7 ± 2.0 N.m (10 ± 1.4 lb.ft.)
2. Wiper arm with blade

Confirm the auto stop position of wiper motor prior to installing of the wiper blade and arm
^
The distance between the cowl cover rubber seal and the wiper blade edge is about 45 mm (1.8 in).
^
Tighten the wiper arm nut to the specified torque.
13.73 ± 1.96 N.m (10.1 ± 1.4 lb.ft.)
