NOTE: 

Gently tap the pin upward (be careful not to loose the pin, as it will be reused).

Pull the door check arm out and remove the plastic bushing. (Figure 1)

IMPORTANT: 

Driver side bushing is installed from the bottom and the Passenger side bushing is installed from the top.

Apply molybdenum grease (or equivalent) liberally on the pin and the bushing hole, then install door check arm bushing. Apply to both upper and
lower side of the door check arm. (Figures 2 and 3)

IMPORTANT: 

Grease application is critical for proper operation.
