Valve: Service and Repair
Valve Guide Seal

Replacement

REMOVAL 

1. Remove battery negative cable.
2. Rocker arm [1].
3. Spark plug wire [2].
4. Spark plug [3].

Install the air line adapter J-22794, or equivalent to spark plug and apply compressed air to hold the valves in place.

5. Valve spring J-26513-A, or equivalent (one cylinder at a time) [4].
6. Oil controller (one cylinder at a time) [5].

INSTALLATION 

1. Oil controller (one cylinder at a time) [5].

Apply a coat of engine oil to the oil controller inner face.

Carefully insert the oil controller to the valve guide groove.

2. Valve spring J-26513-A, or equivalent (one cylinder at a time) [4].
