Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Speed Sensor

CAUTION:  The speed sensor is not serviceable; it can only be replaced as an assembly. Do not replace it unless so instructed to do so in the diagnosis
chart.

1. With the ignition OFF, unplug the harness connector.
2. Remove the bolt holding the sensor to the rear axle housing.
3. Remove the sensor.
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Spec:
Torque the bolt to 23.5 ± 5 Nm (17 ± 4 lb. ft.)
