1. Rocker arm [17]

Tighten bolts in order to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
2. Camshaft [16]
^
Apply sealant (TB-1207B or equivalent) to contact surfaces of cylinder head with front and rear camshaft bracket housing as shown.

Tighten camshaft bracket housing fixing bolts in sequence to:

Bolts M6: 8 Nm (69 inch lbs.)

Bolts M8: 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)

Tighten front plate fixing bolts to 17 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
^
Tighten camshaft pulley fixing bolts to 63 Nm (46 ft. lbs.).
3. Cylinder head cover [15]
^
Clean the sealing surface of cylinder head and cylinder head cover to remove oil and liquid packing completely. Apply liquid packing
(TB1207B or equivalent) of bead diameter 2-3 mm to four places of arched area of camshaft brackets on front and rear sides.

Tighten bolts to 8 Nm (69 inch lbs.).
4. Timing belt [14]
5. Pusher [13]

Tighten bolts to 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.).
6. Timing belt cover [12]
^
Tighten bolts to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
7. Oil cooler hose [11]
^
Tighten oil cooler hose bracket bolts to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
8. Crankshaft pulley assembly [10]
^
Use the special tool J-8614-01, or equivalent to hold the crankshaft pulley.
^
Tighten center bolt to 167 Nm (123 ft. lbs.).
9. Fan pulley assembly [9]
^
Tighten fixing bolt to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).
