Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Installation

1. Intake manifold [13]

-

Tighten bolts and nuts to:
-

Bolts 24 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)

-

Nuts 24 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)

2. Connectors [12]

-

Connect each connector.

3. Fuel hoses [11]

-

Connect the hoses securely and install bolts on the head cover.

4. Common chamber [10]

-

Tighten bolts and nuts to:
-

Bolts 24 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)

-

Nuts 24 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)

5. Brackets [9]

-

Tighten bolts to 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

6. Exhaust gas recirculation valve assembly [8]

-

Tighten bolts to 9 Nm (78 inch lbs.).

7. Ventilating hose bracket [7]

-

Tighten bolts to 24 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).

8. Vacuum hoses [6]

-

Connect vacuum hoses on canister Electronic Vacuum Sensing Valve (EVSV) and positive crankcase ventilation hose, fuel pressure control
valve hose, shift on the fly hose.

9. Throttle body [5]

-

Tighten bolts to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).

10. Connectors [4]

-

Connect each connector without fail.

11. Vacuum booster hose [3]
12. Accelerator Pedal cable [2]
