Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Preparation:

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

1. Illumination light bulb socket

Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise.

Disconnect the connectors.

2. Nut

^

Turn the nut counterclockwise.

3. Outer case
4. Socket
5. Bezel
6. cigarette lighter

INSTALLATION

To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order, noting the following point.

1. Align the socket protrusion with cutaway portion of the bezel.
