Assembling Advice

Immediately install the pipe after applying light engine oil onto pipe for easier assembly.  The pipe must be clean of dirt when installing pipe or poor
sealing may occur.

Test/Inspection After Assembling

1. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position and listed for pump start-up.  Fuel pressure will increase as soon as the fuel pump is actuated.  Inspect

for fuel leak.

3. Perform step 2 a few times to make sure there are no fuel leakage.
4. Start the engine and observe engine idle speed. The fuel injection system may run poorly if dirt had entered the system during the repair.
