Remove the three bolts holding the tailgate stopper assembly to the bottom of the left-hand tailgate assembly (Figure 2).

Remove the tailgate main weatherstrip and set it aside (Figure 3).

Outline the position of the top and bottom left-hand tailgate hinges on the vehicle body (Figure 4). Repeat this step for the top and bottom
right-hand tailgate hinges.
