Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

1.

If removing the left manifold, remove EGR pipe.

2.

If removing either manifold, disconnect battery ground cable, then isolate cable end with electrical tape or equivalent.

3.

Disconnect the front exhaust pipe from the manifold.

4.

Remove the five heat protector retaining bolts, then heat protector.

5.

Remove the seven exhaust manifold retaining nuts, then manifold.

6.

Reverse procedure to install.
