SERVICE INFORMATION 

During off-highway operation in extremely dusty conditions, fine dirt may enter the cargo area through the tailgate hinge mounting areas. This Service
Bulletin contains a procedure for sealing these tailgate hinge mounting areas.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Set the parking brake and disconnect the battery ground cable.

2.

Remove the spare tire assembly from the spare tire carrier.

3.

Open the jack storage cover (Figure 1) and disconnect the left-hand tailgate harness connectors. Pull the tailgate harness and connectors through to
the rear of the vehicle.
