SERVICE INFORMATION
Some states require the use of a front license plate. Follow the instructions in this Service Bulletin for installing a front license plate on affected vehicles.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Refer to Figure 1.
1.
Two holes must be drilled in the front bumper to allow mounting the license plate. The hole locations are identifed on the bumper face by
pencilpoint-sized dimples. Drill two 5 mm holes through the front bumper at the lower, outer set of dimples.
2.
Secure the license plate to the bumper, using two M6 self-tapping screws (16-20 mm length).
