Fuel Rail: Description and Operation
Fuel Rail Assembly
PURPOSE
Provides a resovoir of evenly pressurized fuel for the fuel injectors.
LOCATION
On top of the engine
CONSTRUCTION
The fuel rail is a metal tube with threaded fittings, that forms a connection between the fuel supply/return hoses, the Fuel Pressure Regulator and
the Fuel Injectors
