TROOPER II ACCESSORY SEAT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The attached instructions are for installation of the
Trooper II Accessory Seat. These instructions contain important cautions and must be made available to technicians responsible for the installation of
Trooper II
Accessory Seats.
Your Isuzu Zone Service and Parts Manager will be reviewing these instructions with dealership service personnel during scheduled visits in March,
1984.
KB-82 ACCESSORY SEAT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
C A U T I O N
TO INSURE CORRECT AND SAFE OPERATION OF THE KB-82 ACCESSORY SEAT ALL FASTENERS MUST BE INSTALLED USING THE
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS LISTED IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
NOTE:
All fasteners required for the installation of the KB-82 (Trooper II) accessory seat are attached to each component when packaged in the
accessory seat kit. Observe the
number and sequence of all fasteners before removing them for installation.
1.
Remove the spare tire from the rear floor of the vehicle.
2.
Using a trim fastener removal tool (Kent-Moore J-24595-B, for example), remove the passenger and driver side rear interior trim pad assemblies.
3.
The hardboard of the interior side trim assembly has a cutout for a parcel box, an ash tray and the seat belt pass through. Carefully cut the vinyl
trim pad covering in an X shape inside the ash tray and seat belt pass through cutouts. The X cut should, stop short of the corners of the hardboard
cutout. Make a similar X cut in the vinyl for the parcel box cutout. Trim the excess vinyl from the parcel box and seat belt pass through cutouts
only.
4.
Install the ash tray and parcel box in the cutouts. Make sure there are no wrinkles in the vinyl surrounding the parcel box and ash tray.
5.
Position left and right seat belt retractors between body panel and wheel well flange. Assemble fasteners as shown below. TORQUE SEAT BELT
RETRACTOR FASTENERS TO 30 FT. LBS.
