Trooper II (KT) models.

SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin describes the proper procedure for attaching a loose or missing step bumper cover (on either side of the trailer hitch).

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

If the cover is missing:

a.

Thoroughly clean the vehicle surface where the cover mounts.

b.

Apply a thin coat of 3M Brand Super Weatherstrip Adhesive or equivalent (black in color) to the

back of the new cover. Do the same to the surface where the cover mounts. Allow this coat of adhesive to dry.

c.

Apply a second thin coat of adhesive to the cover and immediately put it in position.

d.

Apply pressure with a roller or the heel of your hand to make sure the cover adheres.

2.

If the cover is loose:

a.

Carefully remove the cover.

b.

Clean the area and install the cover as described in Step 1.
