SERVICE INFORMATION
Under damp conditions, condensation may form in the rear combination lamp housing. To prevent moisture entry, follow the procedure in this Service
Bulletin for installing a gasket set in the rear combination lamp assemblies.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Remove rear combination lamp assembly
2.
Remove lens cover.
3.
Using dry, low pressure air, remove any moisture from inside vehicle lamp area and lamp assembly
4.
Install six round gaskets to lamp housing as follows:
a.
Peel backing from gasket.
b.
Install gasket over screw opening, carefully aligning the holes.
5.
Install rectangular gasket to lamp housing.
NOTE
Gasket has a top and a bottom end. Tabs must fit correctly into lamp housing without stretching gasket. Alignment grooves in rectangular gasket should
face lens cover.
6.
Reinstall lens cover.
7.
Remove existing gasket strips and triangular gaskets from lamp housing.
